Ocean Dunes Golf Club is delighted to announce that we will be hosting our 11th Vietnam Open Championship from August 25th – 27th, 2006.
GANNON Vietnam Limited, a 100% foreign-invested enterprise, specializing includes labeling, packaging, warehousing, logistics, industrial leasing, beverage production and infrastructure development, is once again thrilled to be our title sponsor for the fourth consecutive year. The Gannon Vietnam Open Championship is undoubtedly one of the leading annual golfing tournaments in Vietnam, boasting 145 participants in 2005.
The tournament will consist of six divisions being Professional, Men’s Gross, Men’s Net, Men’s Callaway, Ladies Gross and Ladies Net. The weekend will commence on Friday August 25th with participants checking in at the clubhouse, followed by practice rounds and hosted driving range. Afterwards participants are invited to a Pairings Party by the Novotel poolside sponsored by Johnnie Walker. Saturday will start with a hosted driving range, followed by Round #1 with a shotgun start, next a BBQ lunch and afterwards appetizers at the clubhouse sponsored by Pepsi. Sunday morning will kick off with a hosted driving range, tournament announcements, then Round #2 – Shot Gun start, followed by a sumptuous BBQ lunch sponsored by Pepsi and awards ceremony.
Thanks to our generous sponsors, participants have the opportunity to win fabulous prizes, which will be awarded to the lucky winners of the championship. Prizes will be also awarded for: closest to the pin, longest drive, the straightest drive and include flights, jewellery, hotel accommodation.
